Today I read in a book that the word 'religion' in the broadest form defines itself as knowledge of oneself. After reading that statement I closed the book and gave it some thought. I first beieved that relgion was a belief of a higher being, or a way of life etc. But after some given time, it has come to my understanding that it is beyond that. Religion can also come from our roots, knowledgable of oneself and where we come from. I am Christian-Catholic and I can truly say that I am a firm believer; although I may sometimes mess up, I still manage to find time for god and give him the love he deserves. But to my knowledge one can not give himself fully to god if he/she does not have a concrete understand of oneself. If so, there was never really faith to begin with - just a program and a a programer.

If we subject ourself to anything with a blank mind, ultmately we allow it to rule our life and write the story for us.
