Malcolm X was an angry man

Never really cared for the King movement. He fought for rights that demanded to be placed into the American system. This gave the government a stronger hold on blacks.

Malcolm X on the other hand fought for liberation; to be free from the suppression of whites. It called for a new system of government that would unify African Americans and allow blacks to network and help build with one another.
